Ermanno Malaspina, Lavorare concretamente su Cicerone e Seneca: i siti Tulliana e Senecana
The paper offers some general reflections about new media technologies and classical disciplines and describes two Internet sites – an up-to- date answer to the challenges of the digital Era. As for the general reflections, a retrospective glance shows that we can be more confident than a few years ago about the ability among scholars and teachers of Classics in the design of digital products replacing reference books or critical editions, maintaining and even improving their recognised scientific level. The sites, www.senecana.it and www.tulliana.eu, pursue a policy of openness towards a broader and non-academic audience and offer some didactic tools to High school teachers.
