Peter Robinson, Towards a theory of digital editions
This article surveys the first attempts by several scholars towards a distinct theory of digital editions, focussing particularly on the 'document-centric' approach advocated by Kiernan, Gabler and Pierazzo (among others). It argues that this model of editing is seriously incomplete, and advocates a view of editions which accommodates the work as well as the documents.
