Paolo Monella, Diplomatica o interpretativa? L'edizione critica digitale oltre un vecchio bivio
The diplomatic scholarly edition has the potential of going beyond the old distinction between diplomatic and interpretative edition. The prototypal edition of Ursus from Benevento's De nomine encodes the text at three different layers (graphematic, alphabetic, linguistic). This talk outlines the methodology and technology behind this edition.
